Peppermint CBD oil is a popular option for people who want the convenience of CBD drops without the strong natural taste of hemp.
At Quiet Monk CBD, our peppermint oils combine broad-spectrum hemp extract with MCT oil, peppermint flavor and organic sweet stevia. The peppermint makes the oil taste fresher and can help cover some of the earthiness of hemp.
It is important to understand that peppermint does not make the CBD stronger. The strength comes from how many milligrams of CBD are in the bottle and how much you use at one time.
We currently offer CBD peppermint oil in three strengths: 2,000mg, 5,000mg and 10,000mg. Choosing between them is mainly a matter of experience, preferred concentration and how much CBD you want in each dropper.
Our Peppermint CBD Oil Strengths
The number on the front of the bottle represents the approximate total amount of CBD in the entire bottle—not the amount in one drop or one dropper.
Here is how our current peppermint CBD oils compare:
| CBD Oil | Bottle Size | Approximate CBD Per Full Dropper | Approximate CBD Per Half Dropper |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2,000mg Peppermint CBD Oil | 1 oz/30ml | 66.7mg | 33.3mg |
| 5,000mg Peppermint CBD Oil | 2 oz/60ml | 83.3mg | 41.7mg |
| 10,000mg Peppermint CBD Oil | 2 oz/60ml | 166.7mg | 83.3mg |
These amounts assume that one full dropper holds approximately 1ml. Droppers are not always perfectly accurate, so consider these numbers reasonable estimates rather than laboratory measurements of every serving.
Which Strength Should You Choose?
There isn’t one peppermint CBD oil strength that is right for everyone.
2,000mg Peppermint CBD Oil
Our 2,000mg CBD Oil is the lowest-strength oil we currently offer, but it is still concentrated compared with many basic CBD tinctures.
It comes in a 1-ounce bottle and provides approximately 66.7mg of CBD per full 1ml dropper. A half dropper contains approximately 33.3mg.
This is the most practical place to start when comparing our three current strengths. You can use a smaller portion of the dropper and adjust based on your preference and the product directions.
5,000mg Peppermint CBD Oil
Our 5,000mg CBD Oil is the middle option.
It comes in a larger 2-ounce bottle and contains approximately 83.3mg of CBD per full dropper. A half dropper contains approximately 41.7mg.
This may make sense for someone who has already used CBD oils and wants more CBD per dropper without moving directly to the maximum-strength formula.
10,000mg Peppermint CBD Oil
Our 10,000mg CBD Oil is the most concentrated CBD oil we currently offer.
The 2-ounce bottle contains approximately 166.7mg of CBD per full dropper. Even a half dropper contains approximately 83.3mg.
This is not the oil I would recommend choosing simply because it has the largest number. It is intended for experienced customers who specifically want a very high concentration and understand how much CBD they are using.
More CBD is not automatically better. Choose the strength that allows you to measure the amount you want without making the serving unnecessarily difficult to control.
How to Use Peppermint CBD Oil
Always begin by reading the directions and checking the concentration on the bottle.
CBD oil is commonly measured with the included dropper. The markings can help you estimate a full or partial serving.

A simple approach is:
- Shake the bottle if directed.
- Use the dropper to measure the amount you intend to take.
- Place the oil under your tongue.
- Hold it there briefly according to the product directions.
- Swallow the remaining oil.
- Keep track of the strength and amount you used.
Some people swallow CBD oil directly or add it to food or a beverage. That is also an option, although the experience and timing may differ from holding it under the tongue.
Avoid guessing based only on the number of individual drops. Drop size can change depending on the dropper, temperature and how the oil is dispensed. Measuring by the marked dropper is usually more consistent.
How Much Peppermint CBD Oil Should You Take?
There is no single CBD serving that is appropriate for every person.
The right amount can be influenced by the concentration of the product, your experience with CBD, medications you take and your reason for using it.
The safest practical approach is to understand how many milligrams are in a full and partial dropper. Begin with a smaller measured amount rather than automatically filling the entire dropper, especially when using a concentrated oil.
Our 10,000mg oil contains approximately twice as much CBD per dropper as the 5,000mg oil and approximately two and a half times as much as the 2,000mg oil. That is why checking the bottle strength every time matters.
Do not assume that the serving you used from one bottle will contain the same amount when you switch strengths.
Does Peppermint Change How CBD Oil Works?
Peppermint is included mainly for flavor. It gives the oil a cleaner, minty taste and helps cover the natural flavor of hemp extract.
We do not claim that peppermint makes CBD absorb faster, increases its potency or gives the oil additional medical benefits.
If you do not like mint or prefer fewer added ingredients, each of our oils is also available in an unflavored version. The CBD concentration remains based on the strength selected, not the flavor.
What Is in Quiet Monk Peppermint CBD Oil?
Our peppermint formula contains:
- Broad-spectrum hemp extract
- Coconut-derived MCT oil
- Peppermint flavor
- Organic sweet stevia
The MCT oil acts as the carrier oil and helps distribute the hemp extract throughout the bottle. Peppermint and stevia improve the flavor.
Our CBD oils are third-party tested for cannabinoid content, including THC. Laboratory results are available on our Certificates of Analysis page.
How Long Does CBD Peppermint Oil Take to Work?
There is no exact time that applies to everyone.
The timing can vary based on the product, amount used, how it is taken and individual differences. Be cautious of websites promising that CBD will always work within a precise number of minutes.
It is also a good idea to avoid repeatedly taking more because you did not notice something immediately. Keep track of what you used and allow time before making changes.
CBD can affect people differently. Do not drive or operate equipment until you understand how a product affects you.
How Should CBD Oil Be Stored?
Store peppermint CBD oil in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep the cap closed tightly and keep the bottle out of reach of children and pets.
You normally do not need to refrigerate CBD oil. Cold temperatures can cause MCT oil to become cloudy or thicker, making it harder to measure with the dropper.
Check the bottle for its expiration or best-by date and discontinue use if the smell, appearance or texture changes unexpectedly.
What Should You Check Before Buying Peppermint CBD Oil?
Before purchasing any CBD peppermint oil, look for:
- Total CBD in the bottle
- Bottle size
- Approximate CBD per dropper
- Complete ingredient list
- Type of hemp extract
- Third-party laboratory results
- THC test results
- Clear company contact information
- Return or satisfaction policy
A large number on the label does not tell you everything. A 5,000mg oil in a 2-ounce bottle is less concentrated than a 5,000mg oil would be in a 1-ounce bottle.
That is why we show the approximate CBD per dropper instead of expecting customers to figure it out themselves.
Peppermint CBD Oil FAQs
What is CBD peppermint oil?
CBD peppermint oil is a hemp-derived CBD oil with peppermint added for flavor. Quiet Monk CBD peppermint oils also contain MCT oil and organic sweet stevia.
Is peppermint CBD oil stronger than unflavored CBD oil?
No. Peppermint changes the flavor, not the CBD strength. A peppermint and unflavored oil with the same labeled concentration should provide approximately the same CBD per measured serving.
What is the best peppermint CBD oil strength?
That depends on the amount of CBD you want per dropper. Our 2,000mg oil is the lowest of our three current strengths, 5,000mg is the middle option and 10,000mg is intended for experienced customers wanting maximum concentration.
Can I take a partial dropper?
Yes. A partial dropper provides less CBD than a full dropper and can make a concentrated oil easier to measure. Use the markings on the dropper whenever possible.
Will peppermint CBD oil make me feel high?
Quiet Monk oils are made with broad-spectrum hemp extract and are formulated to contain non-detectable THC according to third-party laboratory testing. CBD itself does not produce the intoxicating effect associated with THC.
Can CBD interact with medications?
Yes, CBD can interact with certain medications. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using CBD if you take prescription medicine, have a medical condition or are preparing for surgery. The FDA also advises against CBD use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Choosing the Right Peppermint CBD Oil
I don’t think customers should automatically buy the largest number on the label.
Start by looking at the amount per dropper and deciding which concentration makes the most sense for you. Our 2,000mg oil is the lowest current option, the 5,000mg provides a higher concentration in a 2-ounce bottle and the 10,000mg is made for experienced customers looking for maximum strength.
Whichever strength you choose, the peppermint flavor is there to make the oil more pleasant to use. It does not change the CBD concentration or turn the product into a treatment for a medical condition.
