Four ingredients that quietly disqualify most “plant-based” gummies
- Gelatin — animal collagen. The most common one, and the easiest to spot.
- Beeswax — a frequent anti-stick coating. We use carnauba, from palm leaves.
- Carmine (cochineal) — red coloring made from crushed insects, often hidden inside “natural colours.”
- Shellac / confectioner’s glaze — secreted by lac insects.
If a red gummy lists “natural colors” and the brand won’t tell you which, ask before you buy.
Broad spectrum, non-detectable THC
Broad spectrum means the fuller range of cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp plant — with non-detectable THC by ppm testing.
You get more of what the plant offers. You don’t get the high, and you don’t get THC turning up where it isn’t welcome.
